She's Got a Ticket to Ride
Kayla was soooo PROUD of her train ticket. Aunt B had the brilliant idea of meeting in Burlingame and then taking the train to Redwood City for lunch. Kayla and Tanner LOVED the train. Kayla felt very important and put her sunglasses on in movie star fashion. Tanner sank right into his chair and enjoyed the ride!

Perez Family Photo on Easter
Easter Egg Hunt at Aunt Jackie and Uncle Brian's
Oh, wait...I lied...we did get some formal Easter photos...and some not so formal. We celebrated Easter at Jackie and Brian's house. I asked Jackie to host Easter (it was my turn) so that we could do an Easter egg hunt in her backyard. Turns out, Jackie hosted but it was raining and we had to have our egg hunt inside. I now know that a 2 year old can have fun doing an Easter egg hunt ANYWHERE!

Minnie Pearl Celebrate Easter
Does anyone remember Minnie Pearl? I know my sisters do. (and the grandparents definitely will remember her) She used to show up on variety shows and stuff when we were little. She was famous for having a price tag hanging off her hat. Well, you guessed it, Miss Kayla Sue had a Minnie Pearl moment right around Easter. She paired her Easter bonnet and price tag with her new robe. What a look!

Dyeing Easter Eggs with Paisley
Cortney invited us over for a visit and a little playdate. Of course, in Cortney fashion, she was all prepared to do something fun so the girls (Paisley and Kayla - Hanna was at school) dyed Easter eggs. While the girls were enjoying themselves, Tanner was attempting to eat the tiniest pieces of cheese you have ever seen and proceeded to gag on them (there's that sensitive gag reflex again) and then barf. Cortney washed his clothes (and mine) and gave us both new outfits. Cortney is pregnant and not sure the sex of the baby. After seeing Tanner run around all over like a true boy and then top the day with a healthy vomit, I am sure she was having second thoughts about wanting a boy! Here are the girls taking a moment away from their eggs to smile for the camera...I'll refrain from posting any pictures of Tanner from that day:)
