Heads Up!

Kayla strategically put on her sunhat this morning and started quietly playing with her toys.  The hat is her most recent adornment.  Her first accessory of choice is her pink headband.  We are not sure where she picked up her fetish for all things related to her noggen but she certainly loves to make sure she's always sporting something pretty on her head!  And, the tongue peaking out is her new thing too (a la her grandpa, Papa Perez!)

Day at the Park

Kayla is getting much more adept at "playing" at the park. We put her big girl shoes on today. This was a BIG accomplishment since she curls her toes so much that it makes it almost impossible to get a shoe on her foot. She climbed up the slide more than she slid down it. Kayla is a HUGE fan of the swing, screaming loudly when her Daddy makes faces at her or tickles her as she glides toward him. She is pulling herself up on everything but, as usual, seems more interested in making friends with other kids at the park than doing anything else!

Christmas Day, December 25, 2008

Kayla threw on her Tony Soprano sweats and we headed out the door to Jack and Sara's for a Christmas Day visit. I had to put a bow in her hair to add a little feminine touch. She is obviously very excited to "go" as we say when we are leaving the house.
